A travel company is only as good as the guides that it works with. That’s why every year around the holidays Walks of Italy puts on a big party to show our guides how much we appreciate all their hard work. After sipping cocktails and nibbling canapés in suits and ball gowns last year at Rome’s Church Palace Hotel, this year we loosened our collars and let down our hair at that other great landmark of Roman hospitality: the Brunswick Bowling Alley. Over pizza, chicken wings, pitchers of beer, and some very good wine (this is Italy, after all) we honored the incredible achievements of some of our top guides before lacing up the bowling shoes and taking to the lanes. No one won any awards for their bowling but we had an unforgettable night just the same. A big thanks to the amazing guides who work with us year after year – they truly are the best in the business.
